LED modules are the core components of LED display screens and the light source. The P2.5 LED Display generally refers to the spacing between the lamp beads on the module. The difference between modules and cabinets
In addition to being used as a component of LED display screens, LED modules can also be used alone without assembly, and can be directly installed on the structure with power supplies, receiving cards and other accessories, which is suitable for indoor wall installation projects.

Types of LED Modules
Depending on the use environment and application scenarios, LED modules can be divided into two categories: indoor LED modules and outdoor LED modules. Indoor LED modules
Indoor LED modules are an important part of indoor LED screens, mainly used in conference rooms, churches, shopping malls, exhibition halls and other places.
This type of module has a lower brightness (usually 800~1200nits), suitable for indoor environments, and has a smaller pixel pitch (such as P1.2, P1.86, P2.5), providing a clear picture.
Although waterproof design is not required, it has high requirements for color consistency, refresh rate and stability.
Outdoor LED modules
Outdoor LED modules are widely used in building exterior walls, billboards, stadiums and transportation hubs. They have high brightness (more than 5000-8000nits) and high protection level (IP65 or higher), are effectively waterproof, dustproof and UV-proof, and adapt to extreme climates.
Common pixel pitches include P4, P6, P8 and P10, which are suitable for viewing from a distance. With a sturdy structure and strong impact resistance, it is the core component of outdoor advertising screens.
Special type LED modules
In addition to conventional indoor and outdoor modules, there are some special-purpose LED module types:
Rental LED Module:

1. Clarify the use scenario: indoor vs outdoor
This is the first step in selection. Indoor LED Modules are usually moderately bright and not waterproof, suitable for conference rooms, churches, exhibition halls, etc.; while Outdoor LED Modules need to have waterproof and dustproof functions (such as IP65), high brightness, strong weather resistance, and are more suitable for installation in squares, outdoor billboards, highway roadsides and other environments.
2. Choose the right pixel pitch
Pixel pitch determines the display clarity and viewing distance. Generally speaking:
P1.25~P2.5: suitable for close-range indoor scenes, such as monitoring rooms and church background walls
P2.6~P3.91: often used for stage rentals and event sites, with high cost performance
P4~P10: suitable for outdoor advertising or information release for long-distance viewing

The price of LED modules is related to pixel density, size and material. Common sizes include 320×160mm, 250×250mm, 192×192mm, etc. The size of the module affects the final screen size and splicing method.
